I have 2 beautiful children age 4 & 7 & I took Paxil on both pregnancies & they turned out perfect. Are you doing this for publicity & a settlement because I asked a lot of different doctors, pharmacists etc & they told me there were very small risks if any. Both my son & daughter are very smart for their age & don’t have any problems. It’s chemical imbalance for some people.. they can’t live without medication!!!!
Anonymous,I am so glad that your children turned out healthy. Mine unfortunately did not. Please before you go around judging people do a little research on your own about the subject first. Firstly I did not accuse you of being ignorant because you are not educated about Paxil and birth defects. However you accuse me of basically being a money grubber. There is evidence to support my claims. Go to http://www.psychdrugdangers.com/paroxetinemothersact.html to see a list of all the people just from 2004 to 2006 who reported babies born with congenital heart defects after taking Paxil while pregnant. Manie is not the only one. If you would read my site more and visit some of the links I have here then the research is not hard. What I am trying to do is put Manie’s story out there so people can make an informed decision about taking that risk with their unborn baby. Manie was the only child I had born with a heart defect and I have five kids. I have talked to women from all over the world and we have two things in common. 1. We took Paxil 2. We had a baby born with a heart defect. Doesn’t it make you a little mad that you did not know when you took Paxil that your children could have been born like Manie and GSK knew about it but did not inform you? One last thing:Manie has had to go through hell because of this. I chose for all of this to mean something and to help people, even you, wake up to what is going on around them. Hi Julie, I saw Manie’s youtube on Amy’s website where she is battling to kill S. 3175, a Pharma bill that, if enacted, will cause more pregnant, nursing, and new mothers to take Paxil or another antidepressant for “postpartum depression.” It has been a pleasure working with her, but it was Manie’s story, along with her story, that got me started.As a Mother whose only son was killed by Zyprexa, I can only say good luck to you in your quest.
